		<description>I had the same thing happen to me years ago when I interviewed a woman from Texas for a back-office position.  She, too, literally asked if she could interview with her back turned to me so that she could face the blank wall.  She said she could not focus unless she had a &quot;blank canvas&quot; in front of her and that she became overwhelmed when she dealt with people.  In our relationship-rich environment, I can only imagine how painful it was for her to actually come in to meet with me.

Another experience that was bizarre was when I interviewed a fresh college graduate with a degree in marketing.  We talked about her internships and she said that she didn&#039;t enjoy them as she had problems with getting up in the morning and having to &quot;work&quot; all day!

Needless to say both candidates were not presented to the respective Hiring Managers :)
