Many people forget that work is ultimately meant to be empowering for the employer as well as the employee.  When people consistently apply a survival mentality to their job search, they find themselves on a treadmill.  At the end they are tired, but they have not gone anywhere. Your point on the potentially disastrous effects of taking the job that&#039;s &quot;a fit for right now&quot; is definitely on target.</description>
